Hey i need some help with my wireless network. I have my wirless network set to public at the moment and it says access is local only and not local and internet so cannot view websites. Is there any way to fix this as i found an unsecured network with local and internet access and i cant figure out how to change mine.

    Thanks :D

Hi there and welcome to the HWF :D

Could you expand on this a bit more? Like your current set up - do you have and adsl modem connected to your router? Is it an all-in-one modem/router/firewall?

If your question is how to edit your wireless access points settings the standard way is through any web browser, you want to type the address //<your WAP's IP address>

To find this you want to use the 'default gateway' IP that has been assigned to your Wireless card, find this out my using the 'run' dialog, then type 'cmd' and press enter, then type 'ipconfig /all' press enter.
